🌱 Q: Can you explain your seasonal boxes?
A:Â For the 2024/25 school year, we're offering curated boxes from our Full Curriculum line in the fall and spring. Nine boxes will be offered for fall (Aug. 15th - Nov. 15th) and six boxes will be offered for spring, (Jan. 15th - April 15th). We hope this helps families plan their year ahead. (Ordering for fall opens July 15th, 2024 and ordering for spring will begin Dec. 1st, 2024)
NOTE: If you order the 9 Box Bundle in fall and the 6 Box Bundle in spring, that is our full curriculum to date.
🌱 Q: Do you offer subscription boxes?
A:Â We started out as a subscription box business, but as our curriculum boxes were completed, we would get new orders for previous releases and noticed that many families wanted multiple boxes at one time. So we transitioned to the bundles model and now families can order either single boxes of their choice or themed bundles. Activity boxes are shipped together to simplify lesson planning and to have open and go resources on hand and ready to use.
🌱 Q: What ages is Plant Magic Club for?
A: The content is geared towards ages 5-13+. (But we're told that adults enjoy it too!) It's perfect for elementary students with adult assistance, or middle school independent work.
🌱 Q: Where does Plant Magic Club ship to?
A: We are based in California and currently ship within the United States and to Canada. Please contact us if there is additional international interest.
🌱 Q: What are the ordering deadlines?
A: We typically ship all current orders once or twice a month. All boxes are made to order and we try to be as efficient as possible with shipping and invoicing. Check our website homepage for upcoming shipping dates*.
🌱 Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: $5.95 per box in the U.S. and $15.95 per box to Canada - tracked shipping with USPS or UPS. Bundles ship at a reduced rate. Sibling Add Ons ship with the regular box at no additional charge. (Please see our shipping policy.)
🌱 Q: Why don't you offer free shipping?
A: As a small business it's just not realistic for us to offer free shipping. Since CA sales tax is very high (almost 10%) we all would be paying taxes on shipping if we marked our prices higher to include "free" shipping. That doesn't make business sense. Plus, shipping costs just keep rising.
🌱 Q: Can I buy a single box?
A: Yes. Single boxes are available in the shop.
🌱 Q: Do you have Sibling Add Ons?
A: Yes. Sibling Add Ons are available in the shop.Â
Sibling Add On shipping is included at no additional charge. They ship with a full sized box order, in the same box.
When ordering the Sibling Add On option, please add the number (quantity) that you want, to match the number of boxes in your purchase. The listing is for a single sibling add on, or with one box.
🌱 Q: What's your refund policy?
A: Per CA law, no plant matter may be returned or re-used. If there are any issues with your box please let us know and we will definitely help resolve the issue. (Please see our refund policy.)
🌱 Q: What's your cancellation policy?
A:Â You can cancel an unshipped box by emailing us.Â
Charter School orders that have already been invoiced and/or paid are non-refundable.
Please contact us if you need to cancel or modify any scheduled shipments prior to our shipping deadline*.
🌱 Q: What's the best way to update my mailing address?
A: If an order has already been placed, but is unshipped, mailing addresses can be updated manually by emailing us with the correct address information. We will do our best to make any updates prior to shipping*.
