February AND March News...

February AND March News...

Here's a 2 for 1 newsletter!

We'll be in Baja the end of February and the beginning of March on a homeschooling marine biology trip with our co-op - soaking up some extra inspiration for our upcoming August box - Seaweed and Sealife!

So - I'm sending out one newsletter with updates for both months. (Be sure to sign up for our monthly newsletter at the bottom of our website homepage if you're not already signed up.)

Shipping dates for upcoming boxes:

Jan. 31 - Roses and Myths About Love (Single boxes are available in the shop.)

Feb. 21 - Marjoram and Myths About Luck (We're sending this one out one week earlier than our usual schedule so that all of our subscribers get theirs by the beginning of March, while we're away.) Order by 2/20.

All orders that come in after 2/20 will be shipped out at the end of March with the Yarrow and Metamorphosis box, which will be released for pre-orders on 2/16.

The good news is that you don't have to memorize all of those dates! Just bookmark this page for reference :)

In Other News...

A note about our signature green envelopes:

Our vendor was out of stock of the envelopes with the metal clasps that we love, but we were able to get them without the clasps, so you'll still get that gorgeous Kelly Green envelope each month, but just without the clasp until they re-stock.

That's the life of a small business! Our vendor is a small business, like we are, and sometimes these changes are just outside of our control. The good news is that our green activity page envelopes are made from 30% recycled content. And they're 100% recyclable. But we like to keep them with the information sheets from each box as reference, and we put our extra round plant label stickers on the front of the envelope so we know which contents are inside.

Do you keep your green envelopes or recycle them?

Did you know that our floral packing tape is also sourced from another woman-owned small business? It's an eco-friendly clear cellulose acetate film, with a natural rubber adhesive, which makes it 100% biodegradable. So not only is it beautiful, but it also meets our missions of having a low environmental impact with our boxes, and supporting other small businesses. We think that's a win-win.

Until next time...

Wishing you lots of love and luck and safe travels!
